About this notice

The Law Office of Ted Wallace uses this website to provide information about commercial contract services and receive inquiries. This notice explains how information submitted through this website is handled. It does not replace the terms of an agreed engagement.

Information you provide

The inquiry form asks for your name, business email address and a brief description of the assistance you need. Company name and type of assistance are optional. Please provide only the information needed to discuss a potential engagement. The form does not accept attachments.

Do not send agreements, confidential information or sensitive personal information before Ted confirms that he can receive them. Sending an inquiry does not establish an attorney-client relationship or acceptance of responsibility for a deadline.

How inquiry information is used

Inquiry information is used to review and respond to your request, discuss whether the matter may be a fit, and arrange any further information needed for a conflicts check, proposed scope, timing and fees.

Service providers and email delivery

Bluehost hosts this website. Brevo delivers form messages to the practice’s Microsoft Exchange mailbox. These providers may process your message and technical delivery information to host the website, transmit and receive email, and support those services.

The form requests that compatible WordPress tools not store a separate copy of your submission. This is not a guarantee that no copy is retained: messages and related information may remain in the practice mailbox, delivery logs, provider systems or backups.

Retention

If an inquiry does not result in an engagement, inquiry emails are generally deleted from the practice mailbox within 30 days. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules. Brevo is configured to retain transactional email logs for one month and not to store previews of new transactional emails. Deleting an email from the practice mailbox does not necessarily remove copies from provider systems or backups.

Cookies and technical information

Website hosting and email-delivery services may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and delivery records, to operate and protect their services. Cookies may be used for website functions. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some functions. Google Analytics is not connected through MonsterInsights, and the inquiry form does not use Turnstile or reCAPTCHA.

Questions and requests

For questions about information submitted through this website, use the contact form. Please keep the initial request nonconfidential. Any request involving client or prospective-client information will need to be considered in light of the circumstances and applicable obligations.
