ABOUT TED
Commercial counsel with an in-house perspective.
I’m Ted Wallace. My practice focuses on helping businesses draft, review, and negotiate the agreements that support their day-to-day operations and commercial relationships.
Legal experience informed by business responsibilities
My background includes in-house legal, contracts management, and senior business roles. I have worked with executives, procurement teams, IT, finance, and other stakeholders on commercial agreements and the decisions behind them.
That work has included professional services, vendor and supplier arrangements, technology and licensing agreements, and contract templates and processes. It has also involved the provisions that often drive difficult negotiations: indemnification, limitations of liability, insurance, confidentiality, and other allocations of commercial risk.
Understanding the deal comes first
A useful contract review starts with questions about your business. What are you buying or selling? What would a failure to perform mean for you? Which terms matter most, and where is there room to compromise?
I use that context to explain the legal issues and recommend a practical position. My role is to help you make informed decisions about the agreement, with attention to both legal protection and the commercial relationship.
A direct working relationship
When you engage the Law Office of Ted Wallace, you work directly with me. We establish the scope and priorities at the outset and discuss significant issues as the work develops. For businesses with recurring needs, that continuity can support a more consistent approach to contracting.
